An Intrinsic Love for glass

Creating art pieces

I’ve always had a love for glass, from stained glass in church windows to fused glass, blown glass and many more!

I studied for my degree in Art for community (specialising in stained glass) and Music and then a Post Graduate certificate in teaching. We moved to New Zealand in 2008 where I studied for my Specialist Teaching post graduate diploma and have been teaching children with additional needs.

I love to exercise my creative brain and often create some quirky, completely one off pieces. Inspiration can strike at the strangest of times and I often draw things on napkins, receipts or random pieces of paper if I don’t have a sketch book with me!

The smallest thing will get my brain turning over and I often have to stop what I am doing to start my latest idea, so my “creative space’ often looks a little messy!

Functional art glass

…and one off pieces

Over the years, I’ve developed a good feel for creating pieces to suit your budget and style. I have a number of items in stock and ready to go, but am also happy to create a piece, specially for you, in your colour scheme or to fit your vision.

I love to create one off pieces for people, I work closely with my clients to create a piece unique and special to them. Working from the clients initial thoughts or brief, to sketches and mock up pieces, I am in contact through all aspects of the creation of the piece. Update photos and messages along the way to reassure and check that you, the client, are happy with your final piece.

Most pieces and artworks can be posted around New Zealand and the world!
